How we began
Was basically out of spoiled frustration for not being able to have bath and body products created the way I wanted them and in the fragrances I wanted.
After being introduced to salt scrubs from a major bath and body company and engaging in a 2 year long love affair with this incredible pampering system I had to call it quits after they began to systematically discontinue all of my favorite fragrances. I often used their body cream however simply for the fragrances and the thick consistency of the product. Although the ingredients contained mostly water I tricked myself into believing that it was still more effect than any other body cream on the market simply because it is so thick. Nevermind all the artificial colors, additives, and preservatives that I couldn't pronounce.
Once I was no longer able to receive the products in my favorite fragrances, what's left? Watered down, harmful artificially preserved concoctions created to tease your skin. I found that the recipe for the scrub was easy to recreate. However, since I am heavily into process improvement I found that there are diverse types of oils used for specific reasons and I chose what I believe is one of the healthiest versitile oils to recreate my shower scrub. This birthed a fresh face in natural skin care using the same ingredient conscious, and healthly skin selection process as I did when recreating the shower scrub.
I had discovered a multitude of butters and wondered why many of the body butters on the market feel like nothing short of a very thick lotion which is what I normally call body cream. I also realized a lot of body butters on the market are basically watered down body cream bases with for example, Shea oil added which allows them to call it Shea Body Butter.
Not here. You will get a completely concentrated (no water) Body Butter when shopping with Individual Expressions. It will also be available in at least 10 different fragrances that will melt your heart.
